Free TX CDL Double/Triple Trailers Practice Test 2025

Earning the “T” endorsement for Double/Triple Trailers in Texas is an amazing way to elevate both your clout as a driver and your earning potential as a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holder. From the deserts in the west to the rolling plains, forests, and coastal areas in the east, Texas is a vast state where diverse challenges and opportunities await. So, here’s the deal: the main requirement and the only thing standing between you and this endorsement, is passing a 20-question multiple-choice knowledge test with a score of 80% (16 correct answers). That’s it! Since this is an addition to your CDL, you’ve already done the heavy lifting. Once you pass, you’ll be granted the ability to legally tow two or three trailers in authorized areas (Texas CDL Handbook 2025).

In the Lone Star State, you must be at least 18 years of age to earn this endorsement. However, if you want to cross state lines, federal law states you must be 21 or older. Also, this endorsement qualifies you to drive doubles and triples, but in the state of Texas, only double trailers are allowed. Fortunately though, double trailers are often used throughout Texas for the transport of oil, natural gas, and petrochemicals as well as agricultural products like beef, cotton, grains, and produce. You’ll also find doubles transporting automotive parts and machinery, consumer goods and electronics, and construction materials like steel, concrete, and lumber. You might now be asking, “Where do I begin?”

Our online Texas CDL Double/Triple Trailers Endorsement practice test takes the mystery out of what materials need to be focused on. We offer a fine-tuned approach without the excess you’ll find searching through a sea of information online. Just the essentials presented up to date as of January 2025, and including 20 multiple-choice questions that offer instant feedback on every answer. This is a proven method that is much more effective for retention than facing the feedback all at once at the end.

Are you ready to take your career to the next lucrative level? When you feel confidently prepared from practicing with our tests, simply head over to the DMV with your documents, pay the fee to apply, and pass the test with flying colors.
